The Bung Karno Stadium has become an iconic symbol for both Jakarta and Indonesia, and has been around for a long time. It is highly valued and meticulously maintained to ensure its longevity and stability. In 2018, Indonesia was chosen to host the 2018 ASEAN Games, so we carried out a structural analysis of the added light load on the roof of Gelora Bung Karno Stadium. We conducted a study to assess the impact of this load on the building’s structure, and found that the building is safe with the addition of the light load.
