Hotel TJS Pecenongan (Former Alila Hotel Pecenenongan) is one of the most well-known hotel in Indonesia. The hotel was established in 2001 and consist of 22 stories, constructed with build in reinforced concrete frame combined with shearwalls. In 2019, the former hotel underwent a new management when it was renamed TJS Dialog Hotel. Struclab offers advanced analysis to assess whether the structure remains adequately robust, given the functional and layout modifications that occur. The void of the floor became bigger and also some existing void was filled by new concrete floor and functioned as ballroom. In order to address these changes, retrofitting and inspection of the 19 year old concrete is needed. It’s critical that the necessary steps are undertaken to guarantee the structural strength of the structure.
