The building consists of two floors of steel structures. Located in the heart of the city of Surabaya and built on very soft soil. The foundations used have a depth of 28 meters, which is a challenge for contractors to maintain the stability of the foundation piles. The stability of the foundation largely determines the stabilities of the building building in addition to the significant lateral load of the Seismic against the soft soil. In order to obtain an adequate lateral load of piles, then the foundations are arranged in such a way that they obtain a sufficient amount. For the upper structure, the structural connections are designed as well as possible with pre-qualified connections so as to be able to maintain joint connections stability.
