Client : Highscope School Indonesia
Building Area : ± 11243.42 m²
Struclab was tasked with conducting a structural evaluation and assessment for High-Scope International School, a prestigious institution located in South Jakarta, which has a 6-story building with a unique shape that presents challenges in controlling the structural behavior. The torsional stiffness of the building is limited, making it important to ensure the dimensions of the structure are adequate in order to regulate its behavior. Given the impact of a substantial earthquake and the crucial role this building plays as a building with an Importance Factor IV, we carried out an analysis study of the structure using seismic device dampers to reduce the force of earthquakes, making it efficient and cost-effective. The use of these dampers can minimize structural drift and prevent significant damage to the building, considering its critical function.
